is pleased to announce that Marti Sullivan, a highly experienced
investment executive in this region, has joined CB&T
Investment Services as Financial Consultant. Ms. Sullivan
is based out of the Cabarrus Bank & Trust office,
located at 25 Palaside Drive NE in Concord NC.
Ms. Sullivan began her investment and retirement planning
career in February 2000 as an Associate Financial Advisor
for a Charlotte based investment firm, and has over five
years experience in this area of financial services. Ms.
Horton commented, “We are delighted to have Marti
join our other professionals at Cabarrus Bank & Trust.
She brings professionalism and experience that will allow
us to serve customers in Cabarrus and surrounding markets
with all of their financial needs”.
On her decision to join CB&T Investment Services,
Ms. Sullivan commented, “My opportunity as a financial
consultant is to advise clients on effective methods to
reach their financial aspirations. By getting to know the
client, their goals, and their frustrations, I can develop
a plan of action that will help them prepare for and achieve
their dreams.”
Ms. Sullivan is a 1999 graduate of the University of North
Carolina – Asheville, where she received her Bachelor
of Science Degree in Financial Management. She currently
holds the National Association of Securities Dealers, Inc.
(NASD) Series 7, Series 66 and Series 31 registrations,
and will begin working toward the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER(tm)
designation in the Fall 2005.
Ms. Sullivan is a native of the area and will be making
her home in Cabarrus County. She is a member at First Baptist
Church in Charlotte, where she works closely with the Youth
program and Singles Task Force for Uptown Charlotte. Her
hobbies include spending time with family and friends,
singing, traveling and she is a huge animal lover.
