Cabarrus Bank & Trust New Palaside Office + ATM
Monday, December 15th 2003 - Concord, NC
- Cabarrus
Bank & Trust opened its new office on Palaside Drive
in Concord, NC.
"The new building will allow us to offer
all the conveniences that our customers deserve," said Sanjay
Mistry, President of Cabarrus Bank & Trust. "But more
important than brick and mortar, is that we continue to provide
banking services on a personal level, one relationship at
a time." The building, located adjacent to Kerr Drugs at
the intersection of Palaside Drive and Arbor Street, features
three drive-through windows and one ATM, accessible by vehicle.
Inside, there are three offices, a conference room and four
teller stations.
A groundbreaking ceremony was originally
held in June to mark the start of this development. Cabarrus
Bank & Trust plans to officially dedicate the building
in early 2004.

A return to the days of hometown banking.
That's what a group of dedicated area residents and business
people envisioned when they decided to revive community banking.
The incorporators felt that the community is best served
with a bank that is focused strictly on Cabarrus County. "The
residents of Cabarrus County have been waiting a long time
for a bank like this" said Bachman Brown, former Mayor
of Kannapolis.
By working together, we can continue to
enhance the well being of the counties we serve and make
a difference in our community.
Cabarrus Bank & Trust operates full
service banking offices in Concord and Mt. Pleasant. Uwharrie
Capital Corp, the parent company, is a multi-bank
holding company located in Albemarle, NC. The corporation
offers a full range of financial solutions through its financial
services companies including Cabarrus Bank & Trust, Anson
Bank & Trust, Bank of Stanly, Strategic
Investment Group and Strategic
Investment Advisors.
